Hi! My name is Mika,

I'm a 24-year-old artist from Sydney, Australia.

As a highly creative individual with a background in graphic design and education, I find immense joy in expressing myself through designing, painting, and drawing, as well as imagining my own little worlds. Often, you can find me losing track of time while immersed in creating my artwork.

As a child, I found myself drawn to stories of witches, fairies, selkies, and mermaids; this, combined with my love for history and fables, has greatly influenced my art. When I was young, I was told that becoming an artist and selling my art was nothing more than a fantasy; perhaps it is, but I'm happy to live in it and to create whenever I can. As an aspiring children's book illustrator and author, I hope that my work transports you, whether it be to a witches midnight picnic, under the sea with mermaids, or to an enchanted forest. All the art I create is made by me, and I maintain a strict no-AI policy when it comes to my work.

Thank you for taking the time to look over my portfolio <3
